Policies, Guidelines, Terms and Conditions (Updated 5/17/22)

Cancellation Policy
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with me it means that we have reserved time in my schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel an appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will not receive a refund for the lesson.

To avoid any misunderstandings, please provide a cancellation notice 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule your appointment.

Payment Policy
Payment must be sent before a lesson is confirmed.

Attendance
If you are late for your lesson, there will be no refunds and there will be no extension on time due to other students scheduled in the next time slot. Please arrive on time and be prepared with all materials.

No Call, No Show
If you are a no-call no-show for your reserved lesson, you will not be rescheduled for that lesson or refunded.

Materials
Students are responsible for bringing their songs and tracks for lessons.

Online Expectations
Students must have a stable internet connection in order to do online lessons. There should be no background noise during lesson time. A microphone would be ideal as well so I can properly hear you and give appropriate feedback. If your internet is not fixed after being advised to do so, I will have to discontinue the lessons until the student is ready with a better connection.

In-Person Expectations
If another student is before you, wait patiently at the door. I will come out to get you so you do not need to knock several times since that will cause a disruption. Respect all equipment around the singing area. No aggressive holding of the microphone. Keep the area clean and don't leave any trash behind when you leave.

If You Are Sick
If you are slightly sick, please skip your lesson before coming in or showing up for online lessons. You can do a makeup lesson on the makeup day.

The Right to Discontinue Service
Sometimes private lessons are not for everyone. I might discontinue lessons with a student if they miss multiple lessons with no proper notification, don't respect the instructions given, have no materials ready when we meet, have no motivation to improve, don't pay on time, or cancel too many times.

Performance Polices
Recitals and performances are created for singers to practice putting their technique into action. To be invited, you must be a student within the last 3 months, otherwise, your information goes onto the inactive roster. Invites go out to voice technique students and those who are training through the performance coaching packages.
